A Year in Review: 2016 at Anvil Media
by Anvil on December 21, 2016googleAs we near the end of the year and get ready to kick off 2017, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all the great things that happened at Anvil this year. It’s been a great year all around!
From a business perspective, we evolved our services to better drive our clients’ businesses and goals and get them measurable marketing results. We did this by offering the Anvil Marketing Index (AMI)™ which is a unique benchmark used for strategic planning and includes a roadmap to maximize the AMI™ score and overall digital marketing return-on-investment. The Anvil Marketing Program (AMP)™ provides cost-conscious clients with a comprehensive but affordable digital service offering including paid and organic search engine, and social media marketing management. The two new services expand Anvil’s ability to service clients of all shapes and sizes, and we’ve had a number of clients try them out with great results. We look forward to expanding this in the new year.
One thing that we are really proud of this year is being recognized as a Google Premier Partner. Only 3% of North American agencies receive such status due to PPC efforts, and we are thrilled to be part of this select group. Additionally, Anvil has been recognized and won a number of awards from being a great PPC and SEO agency to a healthy employer and excellence in innovation in technology. For a list of all the recognition we received, please visit our website’s awards page. Our team has worked so hard and we’re proud of our accomplishments.
As always, Anvil likes to give back to the community. This year we continued our Charity of Choice where we let the community decide which non-profits are awarded marketing services through a vote on Facebook. This year’s winners were the Pongo Fund and Dream Big Community Center. We also volunteered together at the Oregon Food Bank sorting foods to go to families in need.
With hard work comes play, and we played hard this year. In addition to celebrating a wedding and many birthdays, we were able to enjoy each other’s company on field trips painting at Vine Gogh, playing mini golf, and competing in some tough competition on the paintball field. We also had delicious potlucks including an epic Thanksgiving one, networking events, learning events, kicking butt on the softball field with a winning season, snuggling with some of Oregon Humane Society’s kittens and puppies, and celebrating the holiday season with parties, ugly sweaters, and our traditional white elephant gift exchange.
All in all it’s been a great year, and we are thankful for great clients and an awesome team to work with every day. Happy holidays to all, and we look forward to kicking off 2017 and having even better accomplishments and experiences to write about next year.
